I always enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations here in Dublin and for years I played the part of Charlie Chaplin and had the task of distributing lolly pops to spectators at the Parade.

It’s wonderful that such a unique public holiday in Ireland has now become the focus of worldwide celebrations, with buildings and rivers turning green for the occasion and thousands of people visiting our Emerald Isle.
